Wireless Test Bed for Advanced Manufacturing and Processing Systems

Centre for Wireless Communications of Oulu University, Sapotech Ltd, Verkotan Ltd and Kaltio Technologies Ltd are consortium members in an EU Eureka project headed by Fraunhofer Institute (IIS). Reliable Industrial Communication over the Air, Reicovair, started in January 2016 and will last for three years. The goal is to develop wireless communications methods and systems for the challenging and noisy environments in metal industry. Workshop around this topic intended for Finnish industry will be held on 12.9.2016 in Oulu in parallel with the EUROSIM 2016 Congress.
