Departure from conference venue Hotel Ilves at 9 AM

Kalmar
Tour at Kalmar Technology and Competence Center (kalmarglobal.com) will present automated and remote-controlled container handling at the test yard. For example, automated container handling with straddle/shuttle carriers and remote control of a stacking crane. The demonstrations will be held in our visitor center where we have remote control desks and user interfaces for automated machines. Through the windows, visitors can see machines working in the test yard.

Bronto Skylift
Tour at Bronto Skylift Rahola factory (www.brontoskylift.com) will present the assembly and testing of aerial platforms which are operating at heights from 28 meters up to 112 meters. Our slogan “Safety above all” tells everything about our attitude to the safety. During the visit you will see platforms in operation and understand why safety so important to us.

Fastems
Tour at Fastems factory (https://www.fastems.com/) will present the assembly and testing of devices used in flexible manufacturing systems for pallet and part handling applications. For example, one might see stacker cranes, flexible pallet containers and robot lines on the move.

Tampere University HRC Pilotline -research environment
Visit to Tampere University HRC Pilotline -research environment (https://research.tuni.fi/hrc-pilotline/) will introduce the research done in the field of human robot collaboration with large industrial robots. Latest results from EU -project ODIN (https://www.tuni.fi/en/research/odin) will be demonstrated.
